For sale is a 1976 Rickenbacker 3001 bass, date code is PG. The bass is in fair to good cosmetic shape as you can see from the photos. Some scratches, dings, bumps, etc. from actual gigging. There are a couple of stress cracks near the neck pocket which you can see in photos 9 and 10, but neither of these extend to the bolts. Weighs a ton. Sounds great and has nice, low action. Neck is straight and frets have plenty of life left in them. Knobs and pickguard screws have been replaced. A new, non-original hardshell case is included.
Bass can be seen in the Boston area. Local pickup is fine. Sorry, US shipping only.
