Hi,
Up for auction is a Rickenbacker 360 6-string guitar in the Fireglo finish.
I'm the original owner and bought it in 1995 at a guitar shop in Greenwich Village, NYC. The guitar itself is U.S. made (in Santa Ana).
Electrically, everything is in PERFECT working order. The action is great, the pickups are great. The only thing I don't know about is the "Ric-O-Sound" thing since in the 15 years I've had this I've never used that feature.
Cosmetically, there is a chip on the back of the guitar (I tried to get a decent picture of it). There is also a scratch on the back and some very small dings near the jacks, on the back of the neck, and on the front near the cutaway. I couldn't get a good picture of them with my outdated point-and-shoot camera, but they are very small. This guitar is used but was NOT abused. It's been a reliable and trustworthy friend and has seen the road. She's a beauty, but I want to also be honest (I know! Even on eBay!) and don't want to give anyone the impression that she was a hermetically sealed collecter's item. All in all, I'd give her an 8.5 out of 10 cosmetically.
The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, a third party guitar strap (from Guitar Center, I think), the original polishing cloth (in used condition), and some of the original brochures.
