Rickenbacker 4001 V63 Left Handed Bass Guitar In Mapleglo. Near Mint Condition With Original Factory Lefty Vintage Reissue Hard Shell Case. Crafted In Week #29 Of Year 2000. With Extras.

For the left handed Rickenbacker bass enthusiast this is an extraordinary opportunity to own one of the hardest to find 4001 models made. From doing research on the "RickResource Registry" the best I've been able to determine is that only twelve left handed 4001 V63 models were made throughout its production run. Of these 12 only 6 remain in the United States. It is possible there may be a few more out there that are unregistered but it still puts this particular bass in a rarefied class. The 4001 V63, (vintage reissue 1963), is a near perfect reproduction of the early 1960's export model the "RM 1999". The only difference being the V63 has Rickenbacker's updated truss rod system which allows for the safe mounting and use of round wound strings. Some of the very sought after features of this bass are the "Toaster and Horseshoe" pickups, smooth unbound body, vintage style slim neck and the over the top cresting wave 4001 headstock. Here are the extra feature that will come with your V63. Factory Rickenbacker Schaller Strap Lock Buttons mounted. (Stock buttons included.) Two new/old stock Sprague .047 and one .0047 paper in oil tone capacitors mounted. A new "Tube Ampology" treble pickup bezel unmounted. (This is a professionally made bezel to mount on your RIC should you wish to remove the chrome plate cover to your horseshoe/bridge pickup. See photo #12) A new set of Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flat strings. This left handed Rickenbacker 4001 V63 bass looks, plays and sounds as you would expect, Superb!
