Music Store Live is proud to
offer this 1982 Rickenbacker 4003S in Purple! In
incredible playing condition, this lovely 4 string
is all warmed up and ready for you. This guitar's maple neck through construction, maple body, massively thick (almost 3/8")
Rosewood fretboard and dot inlays are some of features of this model. Also
prominently featured are the original Ric vintage single coil bridge
pickup and high gain single coil neck pickup. All
functional, this bass plays flawlessly and sounds
tremendous. It has a sweetness and fullness that
really is hard to overstate. A fine example of
this discontinued model. We've even cleaned all
the pots and intonated it - just for YOU! There
are a few small cosmetic blemishes on the guitar
that don't jump out at you - a tiny hole in the
back of the bass is the most notable but it had to
be pointed out to me after playing it for a few
minutes (I didn't even notice). There are some
dents on the back of the neck but you can't feel
them when you play and visually they blend in with
the rest of the neck. The frets have a lot of life
on them and show minimal to no wear so far. This
is a great bass with a big fat sound. Pull the
trigger and enjoy for years!
