This is a Rickenbacker 610/12, made in the USA in the Spring of 1992. The 610 is a solidbody guitar with a contoured body and dot-inlays on the fretboard, and a 24.75" scale. Although it's 18 years old, it was later outfitted with vintage-style appointments (toaster pickups, trapeze tailpiece and black knobs) so it actually really resembles like a 610/12 from the 1960s, only with the stability of modern tuners! It's a bit like a poor man's Tom Petty signature model 660/12, although with fewer bells and whistles. It has great sustain, and rings for days. It's in fantastic shape and the finish is nice and shiny - I've owned it for two years and it's barely been out of the case. Keep in mind, just buying two new toasters from the Rickenbacker boutique would cost you $300 today, and it appears that the trapeze tailpiece is no longer available. Comes with its original black 80s/90s era hardshell case. Great little guitar!
