Up for auction is a 605D Rickenbacker Dakota Guitar. These are out of production and getting very rare. This one comes with a Rickenbacker case. The case is fine with no issues except for normal scuffing on the outside. Ic has nocracks or breaks and all the hinges and latches work fine. A key is included.
The guitar is used and shows signs of normal use. The Chrome on the pickguard has some haziness, not sure if this will come out with polishing. The is a thumbnail 1/2 sized scratch on the back of the neck, very minor but there. The rest of the neck is very smooth. There are a few little nicks on the head, one from an peg winder that rubbed the finish. The Maple fingerboard lost some clear coating indicated by the wear marks. Evidently Rickenbacker put fairly light coats on the fingerboard. The Frets are in good condition showing only nominal wear. Very fresh really. See photos.
