Rickenbacker Guitars

 Up for sale is one Rickenbacker 660/12 Twelve string electric guitar.  This is Rickenbacker's top-of-the-line solid-body 12 string.  Here are the features:

-Maple body
-Extra wide maple neck (1.75" at nut) 
-Neck through body construction
-Rosewood fretboard with triangle inlays
-Checkerboard binding
-Vintage-style "toaster" pickups
-Controls are: 2 volume, 2 tone, blend, 3 way pickup selector
-Vintage style hardware (bridge, tuners, strap buttons, tailpiece)
-12 saddle bridge

The 660/12 has the thick, chimey, jangly tone you'd expect from a Ric 12 string.  It is big and full on the neck pickup setting, nasal and jangly on the bridge, and chimey with both pickups on.  The blend control allows for a lot of interesting variations and combinations of the sounds.  The neck is chunky and wide, which is comfortable for me as a bass player.  I think it gives more real estate for the 12 strings as well, making it easy to fret cleanly.  I have the action set incredibly low, which is possible with the dual truss rod system and the guitar is a dream to play.

This guitar was built in 2010 and is in like-new mint condition with its original hardshell case.  I need to make room for some other gear, so this little guy has to go.
