Amazing bass in a striking color that isn't manufactured anymore. Anyone who knows anything about guitars knows that Rickenbacker basses are the cream of the crop! I bought this Turquoise 4003 model new in 2003, and only played it for 4 years. I HATE to part with it, but it deserves to be enjoyed, and I just don't have the time for it anymore. Nothing has been modified, so all the standard descriptions of a 4003 model right-handed bass apply. There is a small chip in the paint (about the size of a pencil eraser)at the edge of the body near the adjustment knobs, which you can see in the close-up of the body. Also an adjustment knob label is missing, and there is very slight wear on the pick-up chrome- cosmetic only and hardly noticeable! Other than that there are no dings, scratches, buckle rash or any other signs of wear. The hard shell RIC case is included, and an investment on its own!
