vintage 1976 blue Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar w/case

Up for auction is a vintage Rickenbacker bass guitar. Very nice color blue. Dark blue like the first picture, the others were taken in brighter light. Serial numbers are PE 3314, which means it was manufactured in May 1976. This is an outstanding bass. I've owned it for 10 years and I've barely played it. When I originally bought it, it didn't have the original bridge. It does now. There's 4 little screw holes on the top by the bridge, as seen in the pictures, where they had a plastic plate that went around the bridge. Not a big deal but the holes are there. Plays very nice with good action. It is in good condition but it has been played. The tuners aren't original, they are Schaller's, which work great. The screws from where the original ones went are still intact, as seen in pic 11. The finish is good on the top with a couple minor paint nicks and buckle scratches and wear on the back, as shown. There is some minor paint flaking on the headstock, as well. It's nice and shiny, the chromes good. Finish is glossy! All the electronics work good. It has a good neck and frets. Everything works. I hate to part with it but I have something more important I need to do. Email any questions.    International Buyers – Please Note:

I take International items packed to the post office for an exact postage quote and do not charge international handling fees.

If item weighs less than 70 lbs. and the length + girth combined is under 108", I will ship via the post office. If under 165 bs. and length/girth combined is between 109" to 130", I ship UPS. I do not ship FED EX. There rates are high for me most likely because of where I live.
