Welcome bidders, you are bidding on an incredibly special piece! This is the Vintage '78 Rickenbacker 4001 Electric Bass Guitar! 34" scale. 1 5/8" nut width. 8.9 lbs. Serial#: RI 5544. The 4001 is an american rock icon! Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, John Entwistle, Roger Waters, Cliff Burton...the list goes on- the 4001 has been a huge part of every major bassists tone! Everything from warm clean tones to edgy gains are available here! The maple body with the thru maple/walnut neck makes for an incredibly resonant axe! Add to that the high mass Rick bridge (w/ damper) that adds tons of sustain! The neck has that brutally comfortable C profile you have come to know and love! The Rick-O-Sound stereo output lets you run each pickup to a different amp for an almost limitless palette of tones! This beauty is all original in black finish! The binding accentuates the finish for a really clean look! There are some chips- to be expected- but nothing that affects the tone or playability whatsoever. The frets are clean(some slight divots) and the neck is straight- setup to play like butter- just the way a 'Rick should! This is your chance to get your hands on a great piece of Rickenbacker history! Includes the original hardshell case! No reserve! Don't pass this by!

6. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship to the Russian Federation due to a high rate of theft.
7. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 42". If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International for an additional charge.
8. Flat rate shipping is for continental USA only- all other territories will be calculated.
